Dear Folks—

Livy sits up 2 hours at a time, but can’t walk yet. The first time she can walk across the floor we shall leave for Elmira to spend Spring & Summer, & eventually shall go to Hartford to live. emendation—about 2 years from now—shall travel in the meantime, maybe. Have put up the printing office & our house for sale.

Susie Crane has gone home to go South, & Clara Spaulding is here helping me nurse Livy.

Love to all
Sam
