Dear Bro & Sister:

We are delayed because we have but one nurse . (That is, one only emendation one that can go to Hartford with us.) However, one of mother’s second-girls wants to have the place & is gone to see if her mother is willing she shall go so far from home. If it proves all right we shall start about Monday—but doubtless not sooner.

Aff’ly
Sam.
