My Dear Frank:

When you return the MS to me by Express, don’t forget to mark it “Value $500”—or $1000.

When shall you be done with it? I ask because I want to know whether to go & visit my Fredonia folks now, or wait till I have revised the book. I am not in any hurry for the MS, but I want to know how to date the aforesaid visit. Write me Telegraph or write me.

Yrs Truly
