My Dear Osgood—
Now before you forget it, send me some of those damphool “ready letter-writers.” I want some “Forms” for epistles.
Thanks for the figures. They foot up $31,000 for 62,000 books; Bliss’s foot up $42,000 for the same number.
I think that if I had had you to hurl items through the press & prepare the market for the “Tramp,” the sale would have been double. Bliss never had a bit of sense about working the newspapers.
