Dear Pond—

Your program for first night in New York is right. There will not be a single change made in it for a month to come—it will always be our one-night & first-night program.

The Matinée program will be changed in 2 particulars—my No. 4 will be changed to “Col. Sellers in a New Y Role,” & my last No. 6 8 to “A Sure Cure.” (That is that whistling stammering yarn.)

Now I judge there is time & chance to get all programs right, in all places.

I ain’t ever going to read Buck Fanshaw again, often, I think—will try him occasionally.

Advertise with that big red line—that poster I spoke of—& with board-carriers.
