I’m not able to go to Washington, but Warner is already there, for a few days, staying with Hawley.
If you’ll drop a line to Howells (4 Louisburg Square) he’s the man to go for Hay—pre-eminently. I’d write Howells myself, but I haven’t a minute to spare, & can’t seem to get one.
