Dear Charley—

I returned the book-back. All right & good, & will answer; although the boy’s mouth is a trifle more Irishy than necessary.

Did you say paper had been offered you at 7c which you couldn’t hardly tell from 8c-paper—or to that effect? If so, why not take it?

I’ve got some business to talk with you—notion to print a very small book for railway circulation.

You might come here at day before you are due at Crown Point, & go from here there via Springfield & Albany, perhaps.
