My Dear Bro—

Don’t send telegrams to me—it wastes your money. I placed the matter in my agent’s hands two days ago; & there I leave all such things. We have but 2 dates open in January—that is, we had 2 open; but it is quite possible that the N. Y. agency has filled them before this. We have no engagements on the river except St. Louis—not a single hall or theatre to be had, upon a convenient date, in any town from St Louis to St Paul.
