My Dear Mr. Casey—

That is a mighty good poem, & I am filled with compunctions of conscience for not piling obligations mountains high on the Club’s head by sending that cabinet picture long ago. I send it now, immediately & without reserve.

May you be happy—which is to say, May the “Club” be happy—& may you live long & continue steadfastly happy!
