Dear Mark,

I send you an agent. Mr Lester’s sister was an intimate friend of Mrs Warner and a fine woman. I believe that Mr Lester is a good business man. He used to be.

Am just on my way to Hot White Sulphur of Va. Left Sue today at Hartford. She has been with us up the Mass. Coast and to Mt. Arnot. We are both in tip top condition, and hope you are. Your lawn looked lovely today. But Hartford was hot.

Love to Livy and the nicest children in the world. I approve what you wrote of this weather, every word. It was beautifully done.

As ever from
C. D. Warner
