The session logs that contain this data are retained unaltered for 30 days. After this time, the logs are “cleansed” (IP addresses are completely removed). The anonymized data is kept for one to two years, depending on storage constraints, after which time it is deleted from the system.

MTPO uses a session cookie to store a session ID, which facilitates features such as “My Folder.” No information other than the session ID is recorded, and the cookie expires when you close the browser window. Users who choose to provide us with personal information, such as an email address in the feedback form, should know that access to this information is restricted to project staff who need to use it in the normal course of business. This information is never used for commercial marketing purposes, and it will never be revealed to any third party except by such process, order, or subpoena authorized by national, state or local law.
