David S. Brooks, David B. Brooks, and Henry P. Brooks, at 438 Main Street in Hartford, were manufacturers of household tin, iron, and copper ware, and dealers in sinks, furnaces, stoves and ranges, marble and slate mantels, and tin roofing (Geer 1876, 39, 202). Clemens’s purchase has not been identified.
